Remember to bring a copy of your college acceptance letters to your guidance counselor. We’d like to add your name to the “Congratulations” board in the main office and celebrate with you!

Grad Bash Tickets on Sale

See Mrs. Rocco in the Activities Office before or after school or during lunch to purchase your Grad Bash Ticket. Tickets will only be sold on these four days, or until they are sold out. The cost is $100 and includes admission and charter bus transportation. Grad Bash Night is April 7, 2017 (annual passes for Universal Studios/ Islands of Adventure are not valid for Grad Bash)

Graduation Fee

(this fee includes payment for your cap, gown, tassel, class pin, diploma and cover). You may pay online with a credit or debit card or with cash or check to the activities office. Make checks payable to Spruce Creek High School for $70.00 Graduation fees not paid before April 4th will increase to $80.00. You must have your receipt in order to pick up your cap and gown. Take a picture of it or keep it someplace safe.

Daytona 500 Club, 7PM – 11pm. All obligations must be paid, and detentions and Saturday school served in order to purchase a ticket. Make sure you read and follow the Prom Dress Code.

April 4, 2017

Senior Speaker try-outs

SAt 3:00pm (location TBA). One senior is chosen to give a speech (2 minutes) at the graduation ceremony. Sign up in advance in the Activities Office.

April 4-6, 2017

Cap & Gown Delivery Days

Caps & gowns will be distributed to those who have paid their Graduation fee. Announcements and other graduation supplies ordered will be distributed at this time by Jostens.

April 7, 2017

Grad Bash

At Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure from 7pm – 2am (Buses leave at 5:00pm). Seniors must be in class for at least 5 periods this day in order to attend Grad Bash and must comply with the required dress code. Buses will depart from Creek around 5pm and return around 4am Saturday morning.

Purchase Graduation Tickets and Parking Passes

Admission tickets are $3.00 each and parking passes are $5.00 per vehicle. Seniors are limited to 10 admission tickets for the first purchase. Every guest attending our Graduation ceremony must have a ticket to enter the Ocean Center. Tickets may be purchased in Mrs. Pott’s office (located in the main office) before school, during lunch and after school. Graduation tickets will not be sold at the Ocean Center on graduation day.

Remaining Graduation Tickets on Sale

Beginning May 15th at 7am in Mrs. Pott’s office, any remaining graduation admission tickets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Graduation tickets will not be sold at the Ocean Center on graduation day.

Yearbook Signing Party

Pending publishers delivery date The afternoon will begin at 3:00PM in the auditorium with a slide show of candid senior photos. Yearbooks will be distributed during school all day for seniors. You must have purchased your yearbook in advance. The evening will continue until 4:30 PM in the cafeteria with pizza and everyone signing each other’s yearbook.

Baccalaureate Service, A Night of Reflection

7:00PM at the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, located on Ridgewood just north of ISB. Planned and produced by the Parent Advisory Committee. Students must arrive at 6:30PM dressed in cap and gown. Families are welcome! (The event is open to all students and will last approximately one hour)

Senior Breakfast

8:00AM at SCHS Cafeteria. This is a long standing tradition for our graduating class. Enjoy a catered breakfast free to all seniors and use this last opportunity to return books, visit with classmates and clear obligations.

Senior Awards Program

Held at the Bethune Cookman University Performing Arts Center at 7:00PM. All Seniors, families and friends are encouraged to attend and share in the various accomplishments of the senior class. Seniors must report at 6:30PM to balcony level of the auditorium dressed in cap and gown. Honor cords will be distributed that evening. Families are welcome!

Graduation Practice – MANDATORY, (students only)

will be at 8:00am at the Ocean Center. All students must provide their own transportation. This is a required practice for all seniors planning to participate in the Graduation ceremony. Students who do not attend this practice may not walk at Graduation. Do not wear your cap and gown.

9:00 AM

Graduation Ceremony

Will be held at the Ocean Center at 9:00AM. Seniors should report to their assigned area at the Ocean Center by 8:00AM, dressed in cap and gown, to line up for the processional. The graduation ceremony last approximately 90 minutes. Diplomas will be distributed after the ceremony to those graduates not owing an obligation to the school.


VERY IMPORTANT NOTE! Parking for graduation is available at the Ocean Center and surrounding parking lots. Guests will pay $5.00 to park. Carpooling is HIGHLY recommended. All seniors and guests are asked to plan accordingly so that you arrive on time for Graduation. Doors will close at 9:00AM and guests will not be admitted until after the graduates have entered the Ocean Center and the ceremony has begun.
