Graduation Fee

his fee includes payment for your cap, gown, tassel, class pin, diploma and cover.  You may pay online with a credit or debit card or with cash or check to the activities office. Make checks payable to Spruce Creek High School for $75.00 Graduation fees not paid before March 30th will increase to $85.00


Cap and Delivery Days

Caps & gowns will be distributed to those who have paid their Graduation fee. Announcements and other graduation supplies ordered will be distributed at this time by Jostens.


Purchase Graduation Tickets and Parking Passes

Admission tickets are $3.00 each and parking passes are $5.00 per vehicle. Seniors are limited to 10 admission tickets for the first purchase. Every guest attending our Graduation ceremony must have a ticket to enter the Ocean Center. Tickets may be purchased in Ms. Nordstrom’s office (located in the main office) before school, during lunch and after school. Graduation tickets will not be sold at the Ocean Center on graduation day.


Grad Bash

At Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure from

7pm – 2am (Buses leave at 5:00pm) Tickets are only sold for this in February.
05/11/18 SeniorYearbook Signing Party Come join your classmates on May 11th for an awesome yearbook signing party! Not only will you be able to hang out with all your friends, but there will also be a taco bar catered from Taco Shack! Bring your markers and your appetite for this yearbook fiesta!
05/14/18 Remaining Graduation Tickets on sale- Beginning May 14 at 7 AM in Ms. Nordstrom's office, any remaining graduation admission tickets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Graduation tickets will not be sold at the Ocean Center on graduation day.

Baccalaureate Service, A Night of Reflection

First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach on
Ridgewood, just north of ISB, at 7:00PM
Planned and produced by the Parent Advisory Committee.
Students must arrive at 6:30PM dressed in cap
and gown. Families are welcome!

Senior Awards Program

Held at the Bethune Cookman University Performing Arts Center at 7:00PM. This event is where we honor seniors for their academic endeavors. It is also time for community organizations and faculty to recognize students with scholarships and awards. Honor cords will also be distributed at this event along with the unveiling of the Hall of Fame, Principal’s award, Leadership award and the Hawk of the Year. Senior Awards Night is a time when the Class of 2018 celebrates the accomplishments during the past four years at Creek. Come support your fellow classmates and celebrate all of your success. Seniors must report at 6:000PM to balcony level of the auditorium dressed in cap and gown. Honor cords will be distributed that evening. Admission is free, and Families and friends are welcome! Please be on time. The program will Family and friends are welcome. Admission is FREE. Event should conclude by 9:30 PM

Senior Breakfast at the Bandshell: 7:00am to 7:45 am.

Bring a chair, blanket or towel and enjoy your complimentary Chick Fil A breakfast with your fellow classmates before graduation practice.  Everyone should plan to leave the bandshell area at 7:45am and head to the Ocean Center for practice.


Graduation Practice – MANDATORY, (students only)

Will be at 8:00am at the Ocean Center.  All students must
provide their own transportation.  This is a required practice for all seniors planning to participate in the Graduation ceremony.

Students who do not attend this practice may not walk at Graduation. Do not wear your cap and gown.



Will be held at the Ocean Center at 12:30PM.   Seniors should report to their assigned area at the Ocean Center by 11:30AM, dressed in cap and gown, to line up for the processional.  The graduation ceremony will last approximately 90 minutes, and it may take up to an hour to exit the Daytona Beach area.


      Bag Policy: Important Information for Those Attending Graduation

      • Each ticket holder, including children may carry an approved clear bag and a clutch :
        One clear bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" or a one-gallon clear Ziploc, or similar bag.
        One small clutch bag or purse no larger than 6.5" x 6.5" with or without a strap.
      • Diapers and wipes may be carried in a clear bag; however diaper bags are not permitted.
      • Additional clothing, blankets, etc. are permitted if carried loosely (preferably over the shoulder to be screened more quickly) or in an approved clear bag.
      • Small cameras, binoculars and cell phones may be carried loosely or in an approved clear bag.



Traffic Alert

This year the City of Daytona Beach and the Daytona International Speedway will be hosting a Truck Meet Event within the city limits of Daytona Beach. This event is scheduled for June 1 -3, 2018 and is expected to bring several thousand visitors to our beaches. It is understood that this event also conflicts with several of the Volusia County School's Graduations that are scheduled to be held at the Ocean Center.

The Daytona Beach Police Department is requesting school officials, parents, and participants to utilize the Main Street Bridge to assist in maintaining efficient traffic movement.

Please note that there will be no trucks allowed over the Main Street Bridge. The Daytona Beach Police Department will have officers posted on each side of the Main Street Bridge to monitor and prevent traffic congestion.


Parking for graduation is available at the Ocean Center and surrounding parking lots. Guest will pay $5.00 to park. Carpooling is HIGHLY recommended. All seniors and guests are asked to plan accordingly so that you arrive on time for Graduation. Doors will close at 12:30PM and guest will not be admitted untill after the graduates have entered the Ocean Center and the ceremony begun.
